Hello,

I'm trying to use Tortoise on a Windows 7 system. When I right click and
select "CVS Checkout i'm able to fetch the list of modules but when I click
OK I receive the following error:

"cvs[cvs checkout aborted]: cannot seek to end of history file
X:/cvsroot/CVSROOT/history: INVALID ARGUMENT"

I see a "history" file in that directory that's about 4.6GB with no
extension.

Can anyone advise as to how to resolve this issue?

Thanks!

You can delete the file without any consequences.
